Position Description

Televero Health is seeking a Clinical Director of Psychiatry for our Mental Health Services Team. Our online company employs Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, and Counselors who work virtually with patients. This position will act as an “air traffic controller” who oversees all aspects of clinical work with our psychiatric providers while working with operations to ensure billing for optimal insurance recovery. The right person will be responsible for the rapid expansion of our provider team and overseeing the training and development of these new team members.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Clinical Director of Psychiatry reports to the COO and Medical Director. This position is responsible for the revenue-producing arm of the company overseeing all aspects of clinical work from providers and works with operations to ensure billing for optimal insurance recovery. This position is an essential part of the Leadership Team. The Leadership team guides the company and looks at problems and solutions holistically.

This position will be responsible for the rapid expansion of our provider team and overseeing the onboarding, training, and development of these new team members. This key position within Televero will be an essential member of Televero’s leadership team.

  • PMHNP, licensed to work in Texas, and holds a current DEA.
  • Full-time W2 position, work core U.S. business hours in your time zone

  • Requires travel for bi-annual company meetings and several executive, team, or project meetings during the year.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define the overarching Vision for Televero’s Clinical providers, creating a strategy to achieve this vision and five-year rolling roadmap(s) consistent with the company’s overall strategic objectives.
  • Assume day-to-day leadership of the company’s Clinical Provider management functions, including responsibility for current providers, Nurse Practitioners.
  • Manage the education and support of the Provider Team and the Provider Team’s interaction throughout the organization.
  • Either modify our current model or create and implement a new Provider model that allows our Providers to give the highest quality care while supporting key performance objectives around Insurance and paperwork. This would require gathering input and participation from key organizational stakeholders to ensure this model works seamlessly throughout the company.
  • Build, mentor, and manage the Provider team to create a department with the proper support, training, and onboarding for rapid expansion.
  • Lead and develop a comprehensive growth strategy that maximizes our competitive advantage, customer satisfaction, and delivery of our healthcare quality promise.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 15+ years of clinical management experience, including 10+ years of supervisory experience, ideally in a business supporting mental healthcare and working with healthcare providers and Health Insurance companies.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and scaling a team of 50+ Psychiatric clinicians.
  • Must have experience managing the legal aspects of Mental Healthcare in Texas
  • Advanced degree in healthcare and healthcare business management preferred.
  • A natural leader with a track record of success advancing a business’s overall strategy.
  • Strategic insight into the market and ability to ideate and translate client requirements, organizational challenges, and market trends into actionable division strategy.
  • Success designing and implementing a strategic and operating approach, infrastructure, cadence, plan, and process – with key metrics - created to increase organizational clarity, accountability, pace, and delivery.
  • Experience attracting, developing, mentoring, and retaining a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional communication skills that are transparent, appropriately challenging, and conducive to an environment where issues are identified and resolved.
  • Competence in technology disciplines, opportunities, and constraints to bridge the business and technical aspects of satisfying customer needs.
