Position Description

Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner 

As an Advanced Practice Provider at Diagnostic Pain Center, you will be required to provide the highest quality of care to patients suffering with chronic and acute pain. The APP will be responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the DPC standard of care. 

 

Compensation: 

The DPC compensation package offers a base salary plus a monthly bonus program starting at $100,000.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Perform physical exams and patient observations 
  • Record patient medical histories and symptoms 
  • Order, administer and analyze diagnostic tests 
  • Detect changes in a patient’s health and change treatment plans as necessary 
  • Administer medicines and treatments 
  • Evaluate responses to treatments and medications 
  • Consult with healthcare professionals 
  • Engage in ongoing advanced procedure education 

 

Job Requirements, Skills & Expertise: 

  • Degree from an accredited NP or PA Program 
  • Texas NP or PA License 
  • Texas Medical Board Certification 
  • DEA license 
  • NPI number 
  • Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) 
  • Strong computer skills and ability to effectively navigate Electronic Medical Record 
  • Ability to work collaboratively 
  • Ability to think independently and make sound decisions
